Meet the therapist

Hi!  My name is Vanessa Halter, and I have been an Occupational Therapist for 19 years.  While still in high school, I had the pleasure of serving as a counselor and as the resident “Craft Lady” at Easter Seals Camp KYSOC in Carrollton, KY. Through this profound and life-changing experience, I found my way to the profession of Occupational Therapy, and I never looked back.  I earned my Bachelor’s of Science from Eastern Kentucky University in 2004.  During my 19 years in the profession, I have worked in a variety of settings, serving individuals across the lifespan. I am a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and I am Certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Seeing a growing need for pediatric occupational therapy in Wichita Falls, TX, and surrounding areas, I have opened C.A.M.P. Therapy Center with the mission to provide pediatric occupational therapy services to all who need them, while infusing therapy with the fun, magic, and whimsy of a summer camp.  I have dedicated my life to the service of others, and it is my passion to assist individuals with reaching their highest potential and living a life on their terms.  When not in the clinic, I enjoying spending time with my son, and volunteering my time at the school.

I look forward to serving you and your family—I am with you every step of the way.
